Rohit Shetty to start shooting ‘Golmaal 5’ in 2020?

He used his recent release ‘Simmba’ (2019) to announce the fifth instalment of his ‘Golmaal’ franchise out, and now it seems Rohit Shetty is well under way in keeping up with his promise. If recent news is to be believed, he will gather his cast together and begin shooting next year.

Talking to the media, actor Shreyas Talpade spoke about how the filmmaker is currently in the writing stage of the project. “Like we gave a small hint in ‘Aankh Maare’, Rohit is also very keen that we do the 5th part of Golmaal. He is working on a story right now, which none of us are aware of. Eventually, he will tell us what our dates are for shooting, but I think it will be in 2020 when we should probably shoot for it,” CineBlitz reports the actor explaining.

He went on to add, “I am just keeping my fingers crossed as it is a great franchise, and we all have a good time shooting it together. Yes, we want to do the fifth part and we are hopeful that Rohit will crack a story soon and call us for the shoot.”

Well if this is anything to go by, it seems everyone will just have to do a little more waiting.
