After landing in a dispute with theHindu Janajagruti Samiti over a scene in his forthcoming film ‘Singham Returns’, film maker Rohit Shetty has expressed that the idea of controversy will never be his plan.
According to reports the HJS were unhappy with a scene that is included in the promo’s of the film. In the midst of being in talks with the organisation, Zee Newsreported Shetty explaining, “They have not seen the scene. We will have a discussion with them. I am a commercial filmmaker and I know how business is important. I will never do any such thing or make a film that is controversial ever.”
“I have never done that till today and will not do it in my life. It is just that they have a speculation after watching the promo…We will sit and talk with them,” he went on to add.
According to reports theCensor Board of Film Certification, have received a number of complaints that state that the film promo’s portray Hindu’s in a negative way. Who would have though film making becoming so difficult? With everyone announcing their opinion, it look’s like the film making business is getting more and more difficult.
