Riteish Deshmukh to star in Genelia’s next production

Genelia Deshmukh turned producer for Marathi film ‘Lai Bhaari’. Now, as she embarks on producing her second film, it’s emerged that husband Riteish will be starring in the film, essaying the character of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Genelia confirmed the news on Twitter saying, “���#ChhatrapatiShivaji is not just a film but a responsibility,we @mfc r excited 2 make a movie on this #GreatMaratha.” Genelia will be co-producing the film with Mumbai Film Company.

Interestingly, Riteish recently let go of the biopic on Dada Kondke but now he will be starring in this biopic instead.
