‘Rishton Se Badi Pratha’ finally to launch on Colors

Colors has finally given a launch date to its much awaited new drama, ‘Rishton Se Badi Pratha’.

The channel has confirmed to BizAsia.co.uk that ‘Rishton Se Badi Pratha’ will replace ‘Thoda Hai Bas Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai’ in the 19:30 slot from Monday 15th November.

‘Rishton Se Badi Pratha’ is produced by Pearl Grey. The story revolves around the increasing number of honour killing cases in India.

‘Thoda Hai Bas Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai’ has been under the scanner for several weeks after dismal ratings recently. The teaser promos for ‘Rishton Se Badi Pratha’ have been airing on the channel for the past couple of months and was awaiting for a launch date. This also puts to rumours of ‘Bhagyavidhata’ ending, to rest.

‘Bhagyavidhata’, which airs at 19:00 on Colors also has a question mark hanging over its future. The channel is now giving the show a final push with a generation leap on the show by 20 years. The leap takes place on Monday 8th November.

‘Matti Ki Banno’ – another new show in queue to launch is expected to hit the airwaves from early-December. This could replace ‘Bhagyavidhata’, depending on how succesful the leap track connects with viewers.
