Viacom18’s new Bollywood film channel, Rishtey Cineplex has begin testing ahead of its official launch later this month.

As revealed first on BizAsiaLive.com, Rishtey Cineplex will replace UMP Movies on Sky from Thursday 29th September. The channel’s tests are currently showing EPG data for the service. Full video and audio tests are expected to begin in the coming days.

Equipped with a much bigger library than its predecessor, Rishtey Cineplex is the organisation’s first and only movies channel under the Viacom18 umbrella. The company also homes flagship channels Colors and Rishtey.
