Rishi Kapoor advises��son Ranbir post failure of ‘Bombay Velvet’

After taking the industry by storm and sweeping consecutive Best Actor trophies for ‘Rockstar’ (2011) and ‘Barfi’ (2012), Ranbir Kapoor’s career took a low turn with a spate of disappointments: ‘Besharam’ (2013), ‘Roy’ (2015) and ‘Bombay Velvet (2015). ��Understandably, the actor is disappointed with the failure of his most recent release and spoke to his father about the same.

DNA India quote Rishi Kapoor as saying, “We did speak about it. I have only one piece of advice for him, ��Don�۪t let success go to your head or failure to your heart.�۪ In his brief career so far, he has seen quite a lot of ups and downs. And he�۪s taken it all in his stride… Ranbir is naturally disappointed by the outcome of Bombay Velvet. But it�۪s okay. He will get over it. Setbacks are a part of every actor�۪s career.”

Ranbir is now looking forward to the release of Anurag Basu’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’, slated for later this year, in which��he reunites onscreen with his real-life girlfriend Katrina Kaif.
