American singer, Rihanna has been forced to apologise for use of an Islamic verse at her Savage X Fenty fashion show.

The BBC reports that she was criticised for using ‘Doom’ by Coucou Chloe, which includes a Muslim text known as a Hadith. Chloe apologised and said she was not aware the song had religious connotation.

Rihanna said it was “irresponsible” and an “honest, yet careless mistake.”

Some Muslims questioned the use of the song at the lingerie show, which streamed on Amazon Prime Video at the beginning of this month.
