Revealed: Why the Dhoni biopic is facing delays

Sushant Singh Rajput is ready to step into the shoes of one of India’s most famous cricketers, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, in a biopic about his life. However, it seems the project has been postponed.

According to reports, the film’s makers are still in discussion with Dhoni’s team to finalise details and therefore the film can’t technically go ahead before it’s all sorted out.

Neeraj Pandey will be directing the film.
