Revealed: Vivek Oberoi’s gesture for underprivileged girls

Vivek Oberoi has always been an actor who has not only taken an interest but been very active when it comes to charitable causes. Recently, the actor donated computers to underprivileged girls, BizAsia has learnt.

“These girls are really hardworking and talented. Providing technology support will give them add-on benefits in the future. Nowadays they need to be trained in computer courses. Computer skills are necessary along with the regular studies and I will do whatever it takes to help them build a bright future,” said Oberoi, according to Hindustan Times.

Oberoi, whose last release was ‘Great Grand Masti’ which released earlier this month, continued, “As an actor it is important that I contribute as much as I can to the society. Bright children are waiting for opportunities to showcase their talent and in such cases, I will do whatever it takes to help them”.

His spokesperson also confirmed, “Vivek Oberoi is happy to know that these girls have some goals in their lives. And many of them needed computer systems to pursue further. Now Vivek is placing computers in Devi accommodation house where the girls reside, so that they can practice even after their school time”.
