Release dilemma for Firoz Nadiadwala’s ‘Welcome Back’?

John Abraham and Shruti Haasan starrer ‘Welcome Back’ seems to be sans a release date and it seems things may not change in the near future. It seems the project has no studio on board to release it.

It was initially expected to hit theatres in December but that didn’s happen due to a clash with Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’. Then it was said it would release this month but when ‘Bombay Velvet’ took the desired date, the film still didn’t get to the cinemas. A distribution partner will now need to get on board for the film, which is directed by Anees Bazmee, to ever see light of day.

However, any studio that decides to partner the film will need to put in quite a hefty amount and be guaranteed a recover of that otherwise the film may be delayed further.

The film also stars Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor and Paresh Rawal.
