News has it that veteran actress Rekha turned down officials who came to her after her security guard tested positive for coronavirus.
According to Mid-Day, officials from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) COVID-19 facility had arrived at Rekha’s doorstep whose manager Farzana turned them down stating the actress was doing fine and had not come into direct contact with anyone. A few days later the BMC team returned to fumigate her house a seal the area off, however Farzana again refused entry where she advised them to call her where they can talk on the phone, and stated the rest of the family and staff will get tested if they show symptoms.
Sanjay Phude, Chief Medical Office, BMC acted accordingly to Rekha’s wishes and it has been said that the area in which Rekha’s bunglow resides has been sanitised completely.
As well as Rekha, the likes of Aamir Khan, Karan Johar and Janhvi Kapoor have also been reported to have staff who had caught the virus. It is mandatory for those who have been on contact with those who have tested positive to also be tested.
