Ranveer-Sonakshi to star in ‘Ishaqzaade 2’?

Yash Raj Films’ ‘Ishaqzaade’ (2012), although not released worldwide, received great reviews from critics. BizAsia can reveal that a second instalment of the��love story with a political backdrop��may well be on the cards.

Habib Faisal, who directed ‘Ishaqzaade’, it seems is readying himself and taking the final steps towards finishing the script. It is thought he is hoping for Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha to star in his film which will potentially be the second outing for the jodi after their forthcoming ‘Lootera’.

It remains to be seen whether this is indeed smoke without fire and also whether the Singh and Sinha couple is liked in ‘Lootera’ which is slated for release in 2013.
