Ranveer Singh planning a film with Shankar?

Directors from South India currently seem to the be the most people in demand in town. With Shah Rukh Khan doing a film with Atlee, and Ranbir Kapoor working with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Ranveer Singh is next up to potentially collaborate with a director from the South.

As per reports. Shankar, of ‘Enthiran’ (2010) fame, might be the chosen one to work with Singh. This movie is set to to be in Hindi and, despite any script being approved, an announcement should be made soon.

Shankar is currently working on ‘Indian 2’ with superstar Kamal Haasan. And not that long ago, he also announced a movie with Telugu star, Ram Charan. The filmmaker, who is known for his masterpieces, has made a Hindi movie before. He directed ‘Nayak’ (2001), starring Anil Kapoor and Rani Mukerji, reports Bollywood Life.

Reports say it was Singh’s team who approached Shankar’s team to check if there was a film suitable for the two. And Shankar is an open fan of Singh’s work. He had tweeted his appreciation after seeing the star’s work as Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’ (2018).
