Ranveer Singh not contending for ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramulo’ remake

BizAsiaLive.com reported recently that Ranveer Singh was vying for a role in the Hindi remake of ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramulo’ (2020) along with Kartik Aaryan. However, it seems the former definitely isn’t looking towards the film.

A report in ZEE News suggests that Singh was never contending for the role. The source said, “Ranveer was never doing this film. It was never on his radar given his massive line-up of movies”.

Singh will be seen in Kabir Khan’s ’83’, Yash Raj Films’ ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ and also Karan Johar’s ‘Takht’.

The original film starred Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde.
