Ranveer Singh didn’t want his mother to watch ‘Bajirao Mastani’?

Ranveer Singh is receiving many accolades for his portrayal as Peshwa Bajirao in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ (2015). However, many will be surprised to know that he wished that his mother wouldn’t watch the film.

Apparently, Singh’s mother doesn’t like watching films in which her son dies so she was advised by him not to watch the film. His mother, however, was adamant that she wanted to watch the film. After watching it, she is believed to have hugged Singh for half an hour for his incredible performance.

‘Bajirao Mastani’ also stars Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. It’s still doing well in cinemas around the world.
