They are two of Bollywood’s most celebrated actors and after 38 years since sharing screen space together, Randhir Kapoor and Vinod Khanna are rumoured to be reuniting again.
It had been reported that during the shooting of Prakash Mehra’s ‘Haath Ki Safaai’ (1974) the actors didn’t really get along that well, and since have not been cast together. However, acclaimed director Prabhu Deva has rumoured to have cast Khanna and Kapoor in his upcoming Hindi remake of his own Tamil film.
Bollywood Hungama reports the choreographer-turned-director stating, “Since I am launching Kumar Taurani’s son in my film, I wanted a strong supporting cast. Randhir Kapoor and Vinod Khanna were my natural choices for two very important roles in the film.”
An actress close to the actors, explained to reporters how after such a long time, both Kapoor and Khanna are very eager to get in-front of the camera’s again. The two actors also had their comeback films in the same year with Khanna in ‘Players’ (2012) and Kapoor in ‘Housefull 2’ (2012) it will be great to see the legends come together and dazzle the screens again.
