Ranbir Kapoor’s cheeky lip lock with Anurag Basu
At a recent event to promote his upcoming film ‘Barfi!’, Ranbir Kapoor took a question (read jab) by the media at his lip lock lock with co-star Ileana D’Cruz rather sportingly, and in the heat of the moment grabbed director Anurag Basu and gave him a mock kiss catching the press completely off guard.
“Ranbir is spontaneous at everything, and the point he was trying to make was that kissing acting nahi hoti, natural hoti hai. While shooting, the entire team was like a big boys�۪ hostel. But that day I didn’t know he was going to play such a prank on me in full view of the media,” said Basu in a snippet to the Mumbai Mirror.
Apparently, the ��producer��Siddharth Roy Kapur and the film’s other heroine Priyanka Chopra were in splits at this unexpected public display of affection. It’s not the first time that Kapoor’s done something along these lines of course. A couple of years ago he faked a kiss with Imran Khan on the popular chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’.
At the same event, when Kapoor was asked to speak about his role in the film, he didn�۪t say a single word but instead mimed to explain how he was happy to be part of the film.
His straightforward attitude and candor left the press begging for more. No doubt here’s an actor with whom what you see is what you truly get.
