Ranbir Kapoor took failure lightly?

Ranbir Kapoor

Actor Ranbir Kapoor has definitely had his fair share of ups and downs within his career. After a constant list of hits followed a constant list of flops, however apparently the actor didn’t pay as much attention to the latter as much as he should have done.

According to Times of India, Kapoor had expressed in an interview how he’d taken his flop films very lightly and he didn’t seem to realise how bad the phase was for his career. Though ‘Besharam’ didn’t fare very well at the box office, it wasn’t until ‘Bombay Velvet’ (2015) crashed at the box office, that alarm bells started ringing for the actor.

Reports went on further adding that when Kapoor started receiving messages from his contemporaries stating that they will always be there to support him, that’s when he realised he needed to start making a change in his decisions.

Despite his recent flops, Kapoor will have no problem getting his fans back into the cinema seats with his next release. He will be seen alongside Deepika Padukone in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Tamasha’. The film is set for release on 27th November.
