Ranbir Kapoor has refuted rumours about his upcoming epic ‘Brahmastra’ being compared to the monstrous hit ‘Baahubali’.

The Dharma Productions project ‘Brahmastra’ is currently in production and releases in August 2019. Talking about the film, he told The Asian Age, “Ayaan, my best friend, has taken five years to write this film. He has written it in three parts and it’s a new type of film. It’s a supernatural film, a modern-day fairy tale. All the characters in it have supernatural powers.”

He added, “Bramastra is set in the present day, in contemporary Mumbai. It’s nothing like Baahubali.”

Meanwhile, Kapoor is currently promoting ‘Sanju’, out on 29th June.
