Binoy Gandhi is making his debut as director with Nidhi Dutta’s debut film, ‘Jee Bhar Ke Jee Le’. However, the newbie is already set with two more scripts and has spoken to Ranbir Kapoor and Neil Nitin Mukesh to star both films respectively.
He wrote a script especially for his childhood friend Kapoor. Gandhi told Mumbai Mirror, “Ranbir loved the story but suggested that it needed a few changes. I am working on it. We should roll once all the details are finalised. Directing big actors is a tough task; the script has to match Ranbir’s rhythm”.
Talking about the film that’s to star Mukesh, he said it’d be an intense story, “Despite planning to venture into production with some films already in the pipeline, he immediately agreed to come on board”.
Gandhi has been assistant director in a few films including 2012’s ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’. He recalls, “When I was assisting Kunal Kohli on Teri Meri Kahaani, the film’s leads Shahid (Kapoor) and Priyanka (Chopra) told me that I had the potential to make it big in the industry”.
