Rajnikanth’s special chartered flight for Deepika Padukone

Tomorrow, the music of Rajnikanth and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Kochaidaiiyaan’ will be launched in Chennai. The latter was going to give the event a miss but the former has organised a chartered flight for her to ensure she doesn’t.

According to Mid-Day, a source said, “Deepika was keen to attend the film�۪s music launch as it is the first promotional event of her much talked about film with Rajini. But with another work commitment lined up on the same day, she was not sure about making it to Chennai for the event. When she realised that her prior appointment couldn�۪t be pushed to another day, she was all set to cancel her trip to Chennai.”

The source continued, “Since Deepika is a prominent character in the film, he and his team decided to go out of their way to have her attend the music launch. The superstar made his team arrange for a chartered flight for her. She will fly to Chennai on Sunday morning for the music launch and will be ferried back to Mumbai on the same day”. An official spokesperson confirmed the news.

It is thought that Shah Rukh Khan will also be seen at the launch upon special invitation fro the film’s director Soundarya R Ashwin.
