‘Raid’ to premiere on Star Plus UK twice this week

Star Plus will be premiering the hit film ‘Raid’ this weekend, twice, its been confirmed.

BizAsiaLive.com understands that the first telecast of the Ajay Devgn and Ileana D’Cruz action thriller will take place on Saturday 2nd June at 21:00, followed by a repeat telecast on Sunday 3rd June at 17:00.

Unlike previous movie premieres, ‘Raid’ will air first on Star Plus and not on movie channel, Star Gold. Sources have told BizAsiaLive.com that Star UK is hoping to boost its weekend output and will be premiering movies on Star Plus first where they can. Recently, Star Plus’ share at weekends has fallen drastically due to growing competition in the UK market.
