Rahat Fateh Ali Khan & Ali Zafar to collaborate for Sufi album?

Musical maestro Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is set to collaborate musically with ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan'(2011) star Ali Zafar, giving both their fans more than enough reason to rejoice.

According to��The Times of India, a source confirmed, “If all goes as per plan, Ali and Rahat might soon work together on a Sufi album. The music will have western influences too.”

Apparently, the collaboration follows after the duo casually bumped into each other and got talking at an event. The source added, “Ali, who is a popular singer and a trained classical musician, met Rahat at an event, they spoke about working together. They thought that experimenting with Sufi music by introducing some western influences would be a good idea. The genre hasn’t seen much experimentation.”
