Ragini Khanna to play Big B’s daughter

She was an ex-contestant and is now host on the reality dance show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’, and now��Ragini Khanna has big plans to make her way onto the big screen. News has it that director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has signed her in his upcoming venture.

A source revealed to Hindustan Times��how Mehra has also signed Amitabh Bachchan to play Khanna’s father. Currently the project is untitled and Khanna is being very hush-hush about the whole thing. When she was approached by reporters, she protested, “Who told you about that? You should ask the production house. I am starting a project after Jhalak, but I will be able to announce it only when I get official permission to do so.”

In spite of not giving much information, Khanna does make her ambitions clear, “I want to evolve in the Hindi film fraternity first, and then I will concentrate on other languages.�۝

The entertainment anchor has worked��with Mehra before in the film ‘Teen Thay Bhai’ (2011). The film failed to make a huge impact at the box office but��here’s hoping their next venture will be somewhat different in outcome.
