Rachna Vohra to head sales of TV channels at World Media Connect

Rachna Vohra has joined media agency, World Media Connect, just days after leaving her position at ZEE Network UK.

In her previous post, Vohra was overlooking airtime sales at ZEE Network UK. She has now been lured by World Media Connect to head sales of PTC Punjabi, Foodxp and Republic Bharat. The company handles distribution of the channels in the UK/Europe market. While PTC Punjabi has been riding high in terms of daily share figures, newly launched channels Foodxp and Republic Bharat have started off with encouraging numbers.

Confirming the developments to BizAsiaLive.com, Sumant Bahl, Director of World Media Connect said, “World Media Connect is delighted to have Rachna join us to boost the sales of our channels. With her experience, we expect a very healthy growth of revenues for all our channels such as PTC Punjabi, Foodxp and Republic Bharat, and the ones we plan to launch in the future.”
