Pulkit Samrat opposite Sonam Kapoor in Arbaaz Khan’s next

After BizAsia revealed that Arbaaz Khan had signed Sonam Kapoor for his next ‘Dolly Ki Doli’, we can now confirm newcomers Rajkummar Rao and Pulkit Samrat will be paired opposite the actress.

Mumbai Mirror reports that Samrat will be seen as a no-nonsense cop from the Northern heartland, while Rao will essay the role of a Jat who goes by the name Sonu Sharma.

Khan confirmed the news to Mumbai Mirror, “Both Pulkit and Rajkummar are promising actors and matched the demands of Abhishek’s script. I’m happy to have them on board.”

The film goes on the floors in April 2014.
