PTC Punjabi to premiere ‘Shareek’ in January

After its blockbuster premiere of ‘Sardaar Ji’ last weekend, PTC Punjabi has lined up another big premiere for January.

BizAsia can confirm that ‘Shareek’ has been scheduled to telecast on the channel, including UK. ‘Shareek’ starring Jimmy Sheirgill and Mahie Gill, released in October and did well at the box office. It is about a simmering feud between two branches of the same family.

The channel is hoping to garner a similar response in ratings as ‘Sardaar Ji’ did last weekend. ‘Sardaar Ji’ recorded huge ratings for PTC Punjabi in UK beating all channels in the 20:00 – 23:00 slot on Sunday 27th December 2015.

‘Shareek’ will premiere on PTC Punjabi UK on Sunday 17th January 2017 at 12:30 and 20:00.
