PTC Punjabi to air World Kabaddi League in October

PTC Punjabi has acquired the rights to air the World Kabaddi League in October.

The league now in its third season, will take place between 24th October and 12th November in Jalandhar and Mohali, India.

Kamaljit Singh Hayre, commissioner of the World Kabaddi League was cited in The Tribune saying that world’s six teams would compete one another. The initial process will go on for 20 days, followed by an elimination tournament. It will consist of Khalsa Warriors (United Kingdom), Vancouver Lions (Canada), Royal Kings (USA), Punjab Tiger (Canada), United Singhs (United Kingdom), and California Eagles (USA).

There will be around 33 matches that will be played.
