Producer Siddharth Malhotra expands to the Telugu market with ‘Madhu Masam’

Having been a pave changer in the content industry with his show ‘Sanjivini’, creator-producer Siddharth Malhotra is back with another announcement that will be a treat to audiences. Foraying into the Telugu market with a new show titled ‘Madhu Masam’, he has expanded his horizons and aims to offer quality content to South Indian viewers. ‘Madhu Masam’ will star Harita Thota and Shweta in key roles and will be directed by Dinesh. It has gone on floors and is based in and will be shot across Hyderabad.

“Madhu Masam is a story that brings out the realities of motherhood. Every mother has a unique struggle and Sravya is one such girl who is compelled to take responsibility. I have always wanted to explore the South Indian markets. This is my first step and I hope to have a long journey here”, says Malhotra.

Malhotra has always set the bar high in every project he has taken on. Whether it was creating ‘Dil Mil Gaye’ or ‘Sanjivini’ at a time when these genres has remained unexplored for Indian audiences or directing a film like ‘Hichki’, had a great run at the box office, he has always foreseen the changes in the audiences’ preferences. His return with the second season of ‘Sanjivini’ is eagerly awaited by viewers, industry folk and critics alike.
