Priyanka Chopra to play Mary Kom in SLB’s next

Priyanka Chopra has been confirmed to play Mary Kom in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next film based on the Olympic medal winner.

According to Mid-Day, Chopra will begin work on her role in January, with the project expected to go on the floors in the next couple of months. A source told the paper, ���Priyanka was in talks with the production house for quite a while now. We were trying to work out her dates and finally things are settled. She is on board to play lead. We intend to begin our workshop with PC and Mary soon.�۝

The film is unlikely to star any male lead as it will be a female centric movie.
