Priyanka Chopra keen to work with Oscar-winner Guneet Monga

Priyanka Chopra has recently announced her fourth Hollywood project, which will see her playing the role of Osho’s aide-de-camp, Ma Anand Sheela. The actress has reportedly roped in Oscar-winning director, Barry Levinson, to helm the project and now, sources close to the actress say that she is keen on working with Oscar-winning producer, Guneet Monga too.

The India based documentary, ‘Period. End of Sentence’, co-produced by Monga, won an Oscar for Best Documentary Short at the 91st Academy Awards and has brought the producer international acclaim.

The Asian Age reports an informed source revealing that the actress and producer bumped into one another at the Oscars which led to a conversation about a future collaboration. “Guneet and Priyanka met in Los Angeles recently during the Oscars and they had a brief chat over a project. Priyanka and Guneet are keen to collaborate over some project but it’s too soon to make it official right now,” shared the source.

If things fall into place, the world would see Chopra and Monga collaborating for the first time. Meanwhile, Chopra, who was recently spotted in Delhi with husband Nick Jonas, for her brother, Siddharth’s roka ceremony, will soon be in Mumbai for to shoot the last schedule of ‘The Sky Is Pink’.
