Priyanka Chopra: “I have never said I’m single”

The beautiful Priyanka Chopra may well have had her fair share of link-ups since her debut in B-town but there has never been any kind of admittance on her part. This is something she has decided to reiterate in a recent interview.

Talking to Hindustan Times, Chopra candidly said, “I�۪ve never said I�۪m single. Everybody keeps saying I�۪m single. I�۪ve never ever said that. I think you�۪re single till you get married, so in that sense, yes, I am.”

Chopra also gave her view about Deepika Padukone’s recent ‘cleavage’ story which saw her protest on Twitter to a story carried by Times of India, “Photographers hardly make any money and the one �_photo they sell is the one running their home, so they want to get you the most sensational photos. You can�۪t kick the messenger. It�۪s a much bigger issue here. It�۪s not even the media, honestly. It�۪s the way people look at women. It�۪s the way men look at women; the way the country looks at women. The debate is much bigger, according to me.”

The actress was felicitated by Priyadarshni Academy too which is something she felt hugely honoured by.
