Priyanka Chopra favours Ekta Kapoor over SRK?

Priyanka Chopra was reportedly in the running to star opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Farah Khan’s multi-starrer, ‘Happy New Year’. However, BizAsia can reveal that a recent development has removed Chopra from the equation altogether.

It seems that Chopra is indeed one busy lady but, more specifically, the schedule for ‘Happy New Year’ was clashing with ‘Milan Talkies’ which she is also a part of. The latter, produced by Ekta Kapoor, will be seeing Chopra paired with Imran Khan for the first time. It seems Chopra has chosen this new co-star over her familiarity with Khan as she has given Kapoor the green light to begin the project.

So this means that Chopra could almost definitely not be seen sharing the screen with Khan in ‘Happy New Year’. However, she is still going to be seen in ‘Zanjeer’, ‘Gunday’ and also Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Mary Kom biopic. This Chopra is very much in-demand.
