Broadcasting legend, Pritam Singh Chaggar has passed away.
Chaggar, originally from Kenya, was the voice of Kenyan radio news. He was last associated with the community station, Asian Star Radio. As well presenting, he was also a director at the London based station. He was described by many as a veteran of the radio world and possibly one of the longest serving broadcasters, spanning over 50 years in the Asian radio sector.
Chaggar was 83 years old. He died in hospital yesterday afternoon.
BizAsiaLive.com extends its deepest sympathies to Chaggar’s family.
