Preity Zinta & husband Gene to have grand Mumbai reception in April?

BizAsia reported earlier today hat Preity Zinta wed her boyfriend Gene Goodenough in a close-knit ceremony in Los Angeles yesterday. Now, it’s being reported that the couple will be having a grand reception in Mumbai in April.

A source spoke to Mumbai Mirror about the event yesterday, “It was a traditional Hindu ceremony with a pandit conducting all the rituals, including pheras, and took place in an outdoor mandap with the glittering LA skyline as the backdrop. Preity’s mother oversaw the entire arrangement”.

Talking about a Mumbai reception, a source also said, “A big fat Rajput-style reception is being planned in Mumbai for April where Preity will introduce her husband to the film industry. Salman, Sohail and Arbaaz Khan, along with Hrithik Roshan, Bobby Deol, Abhishek Bachchan and other celebrities are on the guest list”.

The couple have struck a deal with a publication who have exclusive rights to their wedding photos, proceeds of which will be going to the NGO Preity Zinta Foundation.
