Parineeti Chopra replaces Jacqueline Fernandez in ‘The Girl on the Train’ remake?

Jacqueline Fernandez was initially cast for the remake of the Hollywood thriller ‘The Girl on the Train’ (2016), but it seems that reported date clashes have forced her to opt out of the film. Parineeti Chopra has apparently replaced her and Fernandez will be doing Farhad Samji’s ‘Chashme Baddoor 2’.

A source said, “Yes, Parineeti has been confirmed as the lead in the film because Jacqueline had other assignments. Jacqueline was keen to do a comedy after Judwaa 2 and it is a film, which is more up her alley,” as according to Deccan Chronicle.

Chopra will reportedly play the commuter on the train, that was played by Emily Blunt in the original.
