Parineeti Chopra receives backlash over coronavirus photo shoot

Parineeti Chopra has come under fire for sharing a number of pictures wearing a face mask at an airport, in the midst of coronavirus.

The actress has become a target for trolls to slam her for the photoshoot. She was criticised for taking pictures rather than spreading awareness about the virus. She captioned the set of pictures on her Twitter, “Sad, but I guess this is the situation now. Stay safe guys. #Coronavirus #StaySafe.”

After her post, users commented on her pictures. One said, “God forbid if some of your acquaintance dies, you’ll do a photoshoot with sad face in white saree and upload on twitter with caption Sad, but I guess this is the situation now. Stay safe guys.”

Another said, “Dear parineeti..more dangerous than corona..serious virus is spreading our country cowardice n intolerance..any mask to defend that?”

Whilst one user took a dig at her for the disastrous response to her film ‘Jabariya Jodi’. It said, “Chillax guys, she’s just hiding from People who could see her and ask for refund of Jabariya Jodi!”
