Parineeti Chopra comes to Priyanka Chopra’s defence

Fans who were eagerly waiting to see Priyanka Chopra in the much anticipated trailer for ‘Baywatch’, were left disappointed, ridiculing Chopra for her blink-and-miss appearance.

Reported in the Deccan Chronicles, the ‘Quantico’ star’s cousin sister came to her defence. Parineeti Chopra who asked at a recent event said, “Of course, I have seen the trailer and it’s amazing. I have seen the show. ‘Baywatch’ is a big brand and she is part of it and it’s the proudest thing.”

When further questions were asked about Chopra’s brief appearance, the ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ (2014) actress stood her ground on Chopra’s pivotal role in the film, adding  “I think a trailer is cut according to the story. I don’t think we can get involved in it. She is going to be fantastic in the film. I have seen some stills of the film and she is looking amazing. I am sure she will be amazing in the film as well.”
