Paridhi Sharma on challenges playing lead in ‘Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi’

Paridhi Sharma has fast become the nation’s sweetheart with hit shows ‘Jodha Akbar’, ‘Patiala Babes’ and now in Star Bharat’s popular mythological’Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi’.

In an exclusive interaction with Raj Baddhan on Sabras Radio, Sharma spoke about the challenges on playing the lead role in the new series. She said, “It is actually very different. I initially had done a costume drama like Jodha Akbar and have good command of the Hindi language, so I thought the set-up would be quite close to it and easy to handle. But when I first enacted it , I realised it is well more different and difficult due to the dialogues and stance of the character .”

In the interview, Sharma also touched on her unceremonious departure from ‘Patiala Babes’ and her lockdown life.
