‘Paa’ child star Taruni Sachdev dies in Nepal plane crash

Many will remember the lovely little girl in Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan starrer ‘Paa’ (2009) who Auro is always running away from, played by Taruni Sachdev. It is with sadness that the news came that her life was one of 13 that had been taken in the Nepal plane crash.

Sachdev, as reported by ZEE News, had appeared in many commercials including one with Karisma Kapoor. It is thought that her mother was also amongst those who died.

The plane was carrying 18 passengers and flying from resort town Pokhara to Jomsom. The crash happened when the plane was landing at the mountain airstrip. BizAsia��would like to offer sincere��condolences to Sachdev’s family and all the loved ones of those affected.
