Overnights: ZEE TV struggles on Saturday in UK

ZEE TV was one of the least watched Asian TV channels on Saturday in UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The channel’s share slumped to 0.01%, lower than its major rivals including Sony TV, which topped ratings with 0.13%, followed by Star Plus with 0.09%, Geo TV with 0.06%, Colors with 0.05% and Hum TV with 0.04%.

ZEE TV’s biggest show ‘Out & About’ on Saturday could only attract 5,900 viewers at 19:00, while ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs’ at 19:30 mustered in just 3,700 viewers.

There was little more encouraging news for the broadcaster as its movie channel, ZEE Cinema led the genre with a share of 0.06% beating all other movie channels on Saturday.
