Star Plus’ fictions being extended to six-days per week have taken a slight bump this week, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

Initial data shows the primetime shows between 18:00 – 21:00 averaged around 75,000 viewers – lower than usual. The most watched Asian show in the UK surprisingly was ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, which continues to jump leaps and bounds on Star Plus. It beat off competition from other shows on the same channel. ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, which airs at 23:00 pulled in 156,400 viewers – the second biggest audience for the show since it launched. It peaked at 189,000 viewers.

‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ at 21:00 attracted 148,500 viewers was next, followed by ‘Veera’ with 136,300 viewers.

On Colors, ‘India’s Got Talent’ was the leading show with 91,200 viewers at 21:00, followed by part one Bhua Ji’s wedding in ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ at 22:10, which attracted 68,700 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Aamne Saamne’ at 21:30 pulled in 42,800 viewers, while ‘Mera Naseeb’ re-run at 20:30 got half that audience – 21,200 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ at 23:00 was the dominant show with 33,00 viewers.
