Overnights: &TV’s ratings slump continued on Wednesday

ZEE Network’s free-to-air entertainment channel, &TV has had a tough time in its weeknight programming recently and the ratings slump continue last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The once flagship show on the channel, ‘Gangaa’ at 20:00 rated zero last night and has proved disastrously over the past week. ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’, which is also one of the channel’s most popular shows could only register 4,700 viewers yesterday – far from the 15,000+ audience it has garnered on a number of occasions previously. ‘Agnifera’ at 19:00 pulled in 4,300 viewers, while ‘Ek Vivah Aisi Bhi’ at 19:30 managed just 2,700 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 18:00 was the leading show with 130,900 viewers, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 128,300 viewers, ‘Naamkarann’ at 21:00 with 125,200 viewers and ‘Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil’ at 20:00 with 116,800 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Devanshi’ stayed on top with 15,300 viewers at 19:00, followed by ‘Swabhimaan’ at 21:30 with 12,800 viewers and ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ at 19:30 with 6,900 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Kasam’ was most watched with 45,900 viewers at 20:30, followed by ‘Thapki’ at 20:00 with 45,000 viewers and ‘Uttaran’ at 18:30 with 38,900 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Susraal Mera’ at 21:00 pulled in 34,100 viewers at 21:00, while ‘Yaqeen Ka Safar’ at 20:00 launched with 30,300 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Meri Saheli Meri Bhabhi’ at 19:30 was watched by 19,200 viewers, followed by ‘Hiddat’ at 20:00 with 8,300 viewers and ‘Tishnagi Dil Ki’ at 21:00 with 4,700 viewers.

On A Plus Europe, ‘Hurram Aur Sultan’ fetched 3,300 viewers at 21:00.
