Overnights: Star Plus touches ratings high on Monday

‘Saathiya’ on Star Plus

Star Plus delivered its best ratings in a year with ‘Saathiya’ and ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ peaking to nearly 300k viewers, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

One of the channel’s longest running shows ‘Saathiya’ delivered a huge 249,700 viewers at 19:00 peaking at 282,300 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 213,700 viewers and ‘Suhani Si Ek Ladki’ at 18:30 with 155,700 viewers. ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 17:30 also did well with 154,300 viewers. During the afternoon, ‘Manmarzian’ at 13:30 was top with 28,000 viewers, followed by ‘Mahabharat’ at 14:00 with 25,800 viewers and ‘Masterchef India’ at 13:00 with 15,000 viewers.

In contrast, Colors under-performed last night with ‘Balika Vadhu’ the only show that registered 25,300 viewers, followed by ‘Ashoka’ at 22:30 with 21,100 viewers and ‘Ishq Ka Rang Safed’ at 20:30 with 14,800 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai’ at 19:30 drew 47,300 viewers, followed by ‘Thapki’ at 20:00 with 42,000 viewers and ‘Uttaran’ at 18:30 with 36,400 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Gangaa’ scored 26,100 viewers, followed by ‘Santoshi Maa’ at 19:30 with 16,200 viewers and ‘Begusarai’ at 22:00 with 10,100 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Kahi Un Kahi’ at 21:00 attracted 70,800 viewers, followed by ‘Lagao’ at 22:00 with 50,200 viewers and the first episode of ‘Mann Mayal’ at 20:00 with 49,600 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Ali Ki Ammi’ topped ratings with 41,400 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Sada Sukhi Raho’ at 19:30 with 28,200 viewers and the new show ‘Heer’ opened up with 2,700 viewers.
