Overnights: Star Plus & Star Gold share No.1 spot on Tuesday in UK

Star Plus and Star Gold shared the No.1 position in UK ratings on Tuesday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The two channels clocked up a share of 0.16% each – making them the two strongest Asian TV channels on Tuesday. The next to follow were Sony Entertainment Television with 0.09%, New Vision TV with 0.08%, ZEE TV and Colors Rishtey with 0.04%, Hum TV, Geo TV and Dunya News with 0.03% and Colors with 0.02%.

Star Gold’s coverage of Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League was watched by 40,700 viewers at 13:30 – peaking at 72,500 viewers. The repeat of the match immediately after at 17:45 pulled in 15,500 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 was top show with 53,000 viewers, followed by ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 42,600 viewers, ‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’ at 19:00 with 41,600 viewers, ‘Krishna Chali London’ at 20:00 with 40,200 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 35,000 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 29,100 viewers and ‘Yeh Rishey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 22:00 with 20,700 viewers. ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ re-run at 18:00 raked in 2,600 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Crime Patrol’ led with 47,400 viewers at 22:00, followed by ‘Patiala Babes’ at 21:00 with 33,200 viewers and ‘Ladies Special’ at 21:30 with 31,900 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Rajaa Betaa’ was top show with 19,500 viewers at 18:00, followed by ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta’ at 19:00 with 10,700 viewers and ‘Guddan’ at 18:30 with 9,000 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Alvida’ at 21:00 led with 10,300 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Kamzarf’ at 20:00 pulled in 20,800 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Gathbandhan’ raked in 9,900 viewers.
