Overnights: Star Plus rules; Star Gold soars to No.2 in UK

Star Plus continued to rule in UK ratings on Wednesday, while sister channel Star Gold soared to the No.2 position with an impressive performance, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ top on Wednesday

Star Plus was clearly the UK’s No.1 Asian TV channel on Wednesday with ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ in lead with 113,500 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 108,700 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 74,200 viewers, ‘Veera’ (re-run) at 13:00 with a record 72,500 viewers, ‘Mariam Khan’ at 19:00 with 64,900 viewers, ‘Ishqbaaaz’ at 20:00 with 57,500 viewers, ‘Tumhari Paakhi’ (re-run) at 14:30 with 52,800 viewers, ‘Kasuatii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 50,700 viewers, ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ (re-run) at 15:00 with 50,200 viewers, ‘Krishna Chali London’ at 18:00 with 44,500 viewers and ‘Karn Sangini’ at 21:30 with 9,800 viewers.

On Star Gold, T20 cricket between Pakistan and Australia impressed with 20,200 viewers tuning in at 15:45 and then a further 77,200 viewers at 17:45. Movie ‘Raid’ starring Ajay Devgn at 19:30 did well with 18,200 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 12’ at 21:00 was top show with 49,100 viewers, followed by ‘Udann’ at 19:30 with 28,500 viewers and ‘Dastaan-e-Mohabbat’ at 20:30 with 13,400 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Crime Patrol’ at 23:00 was biggest show with 33,700 viewers, followed by ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ at 21:00 with 16,400 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Mera Khuda Janay’ at 20:00 pulled in 21,400 viewers, followed by ‘Beti Jaisi’ at 19:30 with 17,200 viewers, ‘Saaya’ with 14,800 viewers at 21:00 and ‘Beyreham’ at 19:00 with 14,600 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Mann Mayal’ at 21:00 led with 21,400 viewers, followed by ‘Saanwri’ at 07:30 with 9,700 viewers and ‘Aik Larki Aam Si’ at 07:00 with 7,400 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Kundali Bhagya’ led with 43,600 viewers at 20:30, followed by ‘Guddan’ at 18:30 with 32,600 viewers.
