Overnights: Star Plus remains top; ZEE TV plunges

Star Plus remained the UK’s top Asian TV channel, even though its share remained on the lower side. However, ZEE TV plunged back in the red on Tuesday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus’ share stood at 0.16% – its share hasn’t crossed the 0.20% mark since last Friday. However, other Indian channels haven’t upped their share either with ZEE TV at 0.01%, Sony TV at 0.02% and Colors at 0.06%.

Star Plus’ top rated show on Tuesday was ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 124,200 viewers, followed by ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 68,300 viewers, ‘Chakravyuh’ at 20:00 with 67,200 viewers and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:00 with 56,900 viewers.

The ZEE Network channels remained on the low side with ZEE TV, ZEE Cinema, Zing and & TV delivering a share of 0.01%, while ZEE Punjabi was at 0.00%. Most of ZEE TV’s output on Tuesday was at zero with ‘Kundali Bhagya’ at 20:30 attracting 3,200 viewers and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ at 21:00 pulling in 3,100 viewers.

On Sony Entertainment Television, ‘Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai’ at 22:30 pulled in 19,100 viewers, followed by ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:30 with 12,100 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 11’ stayed top with 44,600 viewers, followed by ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ at 18:30 with 40,600 viewers and ‘Savitri Devi College & Hospital’ at 19:00 with 25,400 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Gumrah’ at 22:00 attracted 52,300 viewers, followed by ‘Diyar-e-Dil’ at 21:00 with 28,500 viewers and ‘Alif Allah Aur Insan’ at 20:00 with 27,300 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Adhoora Bandhan’ repeat at 17:00 raked in 9,100 viewers. ‘Ali Ki Ammi’ at 18:30 was watched by 5,800 viewers.
