Star Plus’ ‘Suhani Si Ek Ladki’ at 18:30 has been rising slowly over the past few weeks and last night touched record ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The popular series was the most watched show last night and took the channel to new heights with its splendid performance. The show was watched by a record 176,300 viewers – peaking at 198,200 viewers. ‘Suhani Si Ek Ladki’ outdid other shows on the channel with ‘Mere Angne Mein’ next with 129,300 viewers, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 125,300 viewers and ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 113,900 viewers. The new show ‘Kuch Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan’ at 20:30 dropped to its lowest viewership with just 20,200 viewers at 20:30.

On Hum TV, ‘Kadurat’ at 21:00 registered 65,500 viewers, followed by ‘Aik Thi Misaal’ at 22:00 with 57,300 viewers and ‘Tum Mere Paas Raho’ at 20:00 with 25,600 viewers. Incidentally, ‘Kadurat’ and ‘Aik Thi Misaal’ led the 21:00 – 23:00 ratings despite competition from ‘Bigg Boss 9’.

On Colors, ‘Ishq Ka Rang Safed’ at 20:30 was top with 34,300 viewers, followed by ‘Swaragini’ at 21:00 with 30,800 viewers and ‘Ashoka’ at 22:30 with 29,600 viewers. ‘Bigg Boss 9’ at 21:30 pulled in 25,200 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Thapki’ was the most watched show with 94,000 viewers, followed by ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai’ at 19:30 with 30,500 viewers and ‘Uttaran’ at 18:30 with 26,500 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Begusarai’ at 21:00 and ‘Bhaghyalakshmi’ at 19:30 recorded 26,500 viewers, followed by ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain’ at 20:30 with 10,800 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Dil Ishq’ at 20:00 was top show with 40,800 viewers.
