Overnights: Star Plus leads on Friday; Hum Masala close at No.2

Even though numbers continue to fall, Star Plus remained the No.1 Asian TV broadcaster in UK ratings on Friday, closely followed by Hum Masala on the back of Pakistan Super League 2019 coverage, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Plus’ share was at 0.10%, followed by Sony TV with 0.09%, Sony Entertainment Television with 0.08%, Geo TV and B4U Music with 0.06%, Sony SAB TV and Rishtey with 0.05%, Star Gold and PTC Punjabi with 0.04%, Hum TV and Colors with 0.03% and ZEE TV slumped to 0.01%.

Star Plus’ most watched shows on Friday were ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehalata Hai’ at 18:30 with 48,800 viewers, followed by ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 41,200 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 28,700 viewers, ‘Nazar’ at 22:00 with 24,400 viewers, ‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’ at 19::00 with 21,700 viewers, ‘Ishqbaaz’ at 20:00 with 18,900 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 13,400 viewers and ‘Krishna Chali London’ at 18:00 with 10,600 viewers.

On Hum Masala, PSL 2019 coverage at 16:00 delivered 21,000 viewers, followed by Post-Match coverage at 19:30 with 20,200 viewers and ‘Quick Recipe’ at 10:45 with 10,500 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Patiala Babes’ at 21:00 stayed on top with 37,100 viewers, followed by ‘Ladies Special’ at 21:30 with 33,800 viewers and ‘Mere Sai at 19:00 with 20,000 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Ghar Titli Ka Par’ at 22:00 fetched 22,000 viewers, followed by ‘Noor Bibi’ at 20:00 with 20,800 viewers and ‘Ay Dil Tu Bata’ at 22:00 with 13,000 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Band Khirkiyan’ led with 23,900 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Baandi’ at 20:00 with 5,800 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Silsila’ at 22:00 pulled in 13,100 viewers, followed by ‘Sitaara’ at 23:00 with 8,600 viewers and ‘Roop’ at 21:30 with 7,900 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta’ at 19:00 raked in 12,100 viewers, followed by ‘Kundali Bhagya’ at 20:30 with 5,400 viewers and ‘Guddan’ at 18:30 with 4,800 viewers.
