Overnights: Star Plus flies high on Thursday in UK

Star Plus easily remained the UK’s most watched Asian TV channel, while others followed from a distant, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus’ share attracted 0.26% with ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 raking in 112,700 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 102,300 viewers and ‘Naamkarann’ at 21:00 with 73,400 viewers. ‘Ikyawann’ at 18:30 was placed at No.4 with 70,100 viewers.

Hum TV stayed at No.2 with a share of 0.08% with ‘Maa Sadqay’ at 19:30 pulling in 29,300 viewers, followed by ‘Ustaani Jee’ at 20:00 with 25,300 viewers and ‘Kankar’ at 21:00 with 24,900 viewers.

Geo TV’s share was at 0.04%, followed by Sony Entertainment Television, Colors and ZEE TV with 0.02%.

New Vision TV dominated the South Asian news genre with a share of 0.07%. ‘Headline News’ at 20:00 raked in 21,600 viewers.
